Barry has an extensive management, training and consulting background in both the public and private sectors.

Prior to joining Stanton Associates, Barry was active in marketing and corporate development in the high technology sector. In addition, he provides counselling services in the areas of both business development and career/employment planning. Also, he was with the Business Development Bank of Canada for a number of years as manager, consulting and training services.

Barry's background also includes marketing, urban development, community economic development as well as community and media relations in the Lower Mainland. His experience covers both consulting and the management of consulting projects. A graduate of the University of British Columbia and Queen’s University, his education includes also the B.C. Provincial Instructor Diploma and the Economic Development Certificate from the University of Waterloo/Economic Developers Association of Canada.
